We just shipped our most exciting update yet Shadow is now your live meeting assistant!
Here's what's new:
In-Meeting Assistant
This is the feature that changes the game. You can now ask Shadow questions while you're still in the meeting.

We're currently processing transcription every 30 seconds, but we're working to make this much faster soon so Shadow will have even more up-to-the-minute context to help you.
Major Stability Improvements
We've fixed all the major issues that were causing you to lose entire transcripts. You shouldn't see any crashes anymore, but even if something unexpected happens, Shadow now guarantees you'll get both your transcript and audio up to the exact moment where it cuts off. No more lost meetings, ever.
Much Better "Me Detection"
We've completely rebuilt how Shadow separates what you say from what you hear. Before, we relied purely on AI voice recognition, but since that's not perfect yet, we've made it simpler and more reliable. Shadow now considers everything spoken directly into your microphone as "you" which makes it significantly more accurate overall.
This does come with one small trade-off: for in-person meetings, you'll need to toggle "Mark as in-person meeting" in the listening widget while you're in the meeting. But the improved accuracy is worth it.
Customizable Shortcuts
You can now personalize your Shadow experience with custom keyboard shortcuts! Head to Settings to set up shortcuts that work best for you.
Lots of Smaller Improvements
This release also includes many subtle but meaningful upgrades under the hood improved stability, faster performance, and sharper handling of tricky transcription cases.
